About me

Welcome to my website! My name is Bernard Rybołowicz, and I am a research associate at Heriot-Watt University. I earned my PhD at Swansea University, where, under the supervision of Prof. Tomasz Brzeziński, I studied trusses and their connections to ring theory.

Currently, my research focuses on studying the set-theoretic Yang-Baxter equation and its connection with various algebraic structures under the supervision of Prof. Anastasia Doikou. I am also researching different links between ternary and binary algebras. Recently I have become interested in semigroup theory. While I would describe myself as an algebraist working on affine structures, I am eager to diversify my skills and tackle problems from any part of mathematics.

Throughout my math adventure, which started with my undergraduate studies, I have met many amazing people and collaborators who have broadened my horizons on mathematics and made me realise that mathematics is much more enjoyable when collaborating with others. Thus, I am always open to starting new projects and learning new things.

If you like to learn more about my research or are interested in collaborating with me, please don't hesitate to reach out. You can find my contact information on this website. Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
